Prof. Zhongsheng Guo earned his doctoral degree from Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, where he now serves as a professor in China. He is renowned for proposing several influential theories, including the Theory of Resource Use Limit by Plants, the Theory of Vegetation Carrying Capacity, the Theory of Critical Period in Plant-Resource Regulation, and a New Theory of Soil and Water Conservation. These theories form the scientific foundation for the sustainable and high-quality development of forestry, grassland, agriculture, and soil and water conservation practices. Since June 2022, Prof. Guo has been leading the "Innovation China" Agricultural High-Quality Production and Industry Service Group.
