Prof. Bing Xie is a full professor of environmental engineering at East China Normal University, he is also the director of Shanghai Engineering Research Center of Biotransformation of Organic Solid Waste. His work is multi-disciplinary, ranging from studies on solid waste and wastewater treatment and bioremediation, focus on advanced biological technology on organic waste treatment, control strategies of emerging contaminates such as antibiotic resistance genes and microplastic in nature and engineering environment. He has more than 260 papers in prints and has been successful in securing 50+ projects including from National Key Science & Technology project, National Founding of China, etc. He has honoured more than 20 distinguished awards and recognitions including the Shanghai Natural Science Award, Shanghai Science & Technology Progress Award. He has been recognized as the World’s Top 2% Scientist.
