Prof. Xiang Li received his Ph.D. from Nanjing University in 2006, conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Waterloo from 2008 to 2009, and joined Fudan University in 2006, where he is currently a Professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering. His research focuses on environmental exposure science and non-invasive diagnostic technologies, particularly the development of advanced analytical platforms for detecting trace biomarkers in human exhaled breath to assess pollutant exposure and health effects. Building on his expertise in environmental analytical chemistry, his work aims to establish novel detection methods and separation systems for applications in exposomics, early disease screening, and real-time health monitoring.
