Xiu-Feng Hou earned her Ph.D. degree in chemistry from Fudan University in 1999. Then she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at enterprise postdoctoral working station of Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Company Limited and Fudan University for two years. After that, she joined the department of chemistry at Fudan University and now she is a full professor of inorganic chemistry. Her research interests include the synthesis of late transition organometallic complexes and porous materials supported metal nanocatalysts for environmentally benign chemical transformations.
