Assoc. Prof. Shengzhen Zhou is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Atmospheric Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University. He received his Ph.D. from Shandong University in 2014, through a joint program with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research focuses on atmospheric aerosol chemistry and its environmental and health impacts, with particular emphasis on integrating advanced field observations and laboratory simulations to elucidate the formation, transformation, and health risks of aerosols. He has published over 60 scientific papers, including first/corresponding author papers inACP, JGR-Atmos. andEST Lett. etc. Dr. Zhou has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key R&D Program, and Guangdong Basic and Applied Basic Research Foundation etc. He is an Associate Editor forWater, Air, & Soil Pollution. His awards include second-class prizes in Environmental Protection Science and Technology and honors for teaching and mentorship at Sun Yat-sen University.
